I remember learning a technique using conditioner to help blend ombré and balayage. Doesn't anyone know what I'm talking about or how to do this?

Search out "Guy Tang" on facebook and YouTube, he is the king of Ombré and balayage with lots of tips and videos.

Ombré is the effect of dark to light transition.

Balayage is the name of a hairdressing colouring technique.

You can use conditioner as a barrier when tinting, is this what you mean?

Perhaps you are thinking about using clear shades to 'melt' colours together? For example applying a clear demi to the roots & mid lengths, then applying the lighter or colour to the ends and the brushing it up into the clear shade to create a soft transition of tone, or lift if using prelightener.

I saw a video on this!! Didnt get it atall and think it makes work for yourself. I think the idea is to blend the colours.
