I have a client who have been doing for years she is naturally a base 6 with I would say 30/40% grey. She likes to stay really cool hates any warm tones coming through. Normally i use a 5.00 6% on roots then a 5.1 6% on mid length and ends recently the mid lenths and ends have been fading to a golden colour which she hates and i just cant think why its fading and showing warm tones? Whats the best thing to use to counteract these tones? I would assume ash? Thanks

I also use igora royal x

Fudge has just released a new shampoo and conditioner called cool brunette it works similar to a silver shampoo and neutralises any warmth in the hair. X

If you're getting gold you will need violet to neutralise the gold. Ashton gold would give you a sludgy green colour whether your ash is blue or green.
Also is using 6% on mle with a permanent colour necessary?
