Hi Alison

There is so much information on this site about education and courses, and many opinions and recommendations, just type in education in the search box and get reading!!

There are so many avenues open to you so read into it all as much as you can. Make yourself a shortlist of the companies / trainers that match up to your requirements. Could be:
  • location
  • length of training
  • number of students in class
  • systems covered
  • qualification at the end of the course
  • follow up courses offered
  • student/product support
to name a few, and talk to your short list of trainers/companies (when you get that far) before making your final choice.

If there is anything you don't unerstand, just post on here and someone will answer you.

Good luck to you!

thanks for your help, i work on my own and dont have a lot of experience so i need to keep doing courses to better myself. Can you recommend one i have done an ibd gel course

It would be very difficult for me to recommend a course or product for you to use as this is something you really must decide for yourself based on your research and of course your interpretation of the recommendations and experiences of other geeks on the site.

As you have already done an IBD gel course, do you want to continue with gel, do you like the product, maybe find out what other education they provide. Do you want to try a different product or system?

The way I got into the industry was by way of a VTCT course in Advanced Nail Techniques at my local college and then went on to do additional training with EZ Flow.

This is only one example of the avenues into nails...there are many many more.

Do the search, have a read and see what you think then.

Sorry if this comes across a bit woolley but I could say go with XYZ and what they offer could be totally inappropriate for your own personal circumstances.

HTH
