Hey lovely ladies not sure if anyone can help!

I'm a beauty geek but my little boys 18 months and ive tried everything to get rid of his cradle cap! Olive oil creams/shampoo you name it!

Just wondered if anyone had any other methods? Thank you hair geeks :) xxxx

I look forward to the replies, I'm about to become Granny Sue and my soon to be grandson's dad had the most horrendus cradle cap, this is 24 years ago and the best thing we had was baby oil, massaged in for 10 minutes and not washed out for at least a couple of hours. It did get rid of it, took a couple of months though and he still uses a medicated shampoo because of dry scalp problems. Upside, my dil says any time he can't sleep she gives him an Indian head massage and he's sound out

It will take a while to go, be patient is all I can say. Warmed oil gently massaged in will eventually lift it out, if you pick it off it will just build up again so try to avoid this if you are ever tempted.

Hi
I just wanted to say thanks for this tip you gave a few days ago. I have tried everything on my four year old, she has had patches of cradle cap on and off since she was about 6 months old. I even had a scalp sample taken by the doctor and sent off for analysis incase it was somthing else like a fungus as nothing seemed to shift it (it all came back clear). I put vaseline on just after reading this post and it was all clear in about 3/4days. I am thrilled, so thanks again for the advice (even though it wasn't meant for me) xx
