Fisrtly I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone who previously replied to my thread about Carlton vs Creative and where to do my training. I took your advice and have just done the first part of my foundation course with Creative - absolutely fantastic, am training under Pamela Rohlfe in Maidenhead and she is truly an expert in her field! Just have to complete the homework now!! I can't get enough of it, am booked on the spa man/ped course and also a nail art course. Just a quick question - does anyone know where I can get hold of a tray to put on my desk to keep all my products on neat and tidy - I have seen one that I like in the nail book but it comes with a kit from someone called hands up and they don't sell it sep but that's the kind of trayu am looking for - page 13 if you have the book. Anyone help???

Hi there,

what a lovely post to read, so glad you are happy and enjoying your course.

I know that creative sell plastic/acrylic table tidies in their OSNS, well the Leeds HQ branch does maybe yours will to..

all the best,

I'm not going to be so useful as to the tidy tray you need (since I'm in Malta) however I just wanted to say that I too have just finished my first part of Foundation yesterday and also booked for spa mani/pedi. My educator is also fab and I enjoyed the course so much :)

I have managed to master the pre tailoring and prep quite easily however I'm still worried about my beads and application of l&p. How about you, and all the other geeks? Was it difficult at first, or is it only me?

Hi Yolanda, I think the majority of us had some sort of problems at the beginning and a lot of us still do, that is why the education side is so important so that you can find out where you are going wrong and how to put it right. The nail industry is getting bigger all the time and new things are coming in that will give us the opportunity to learn and grow into even better technicians.

Thanks David, very encouraging.... Today I did a whole set on my mom... she was very happy with them cause she never had a free edge (her nails tend to shred)...and she went round to my sis to show them off :o ...but I had to worn her not to show them to too many peeps....they are very far from what I would call 'good' and eventually I'm gonna need some clients.... LOL....

In the end I had to sit her down and explain what was wrong and show her really nice pics.... Did not wipe off the wide smile however  .... Well at least she is happy hehe

In the meantime I'm practicing practicing practicing....

Hi

I'm planning on doing the CND course after I finished doing my mani/pedi at college. I saw in their brochure that the spa mani and spa pedi was free when you brought the products, can you let me know how much the products are please.

Do you think your will progress and do the gel course too through creatives??

thanks

Costs of kits/classes can be obtained by ringing 0113 275 5719 and speaking to a Creative Academy Adviser. If you are pleased with your course why not tick to a winning formula?
