Curing UV gel extensions with LED lamp?

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help me please??

Can you cure UV gel extensions under a Gelish 18g LED Lamp??

It is a good lamp and retails at approx £300.

Or will i have to purchase a UV lamp? If so does anyone have an recommendations please.

The Gelish lamp cures Harmony Gelish. What brands are you trained in?

Yes it will cure as long as they are LED curable gels!

Not fully qualified yet, currently studying NVQ Level2
but i own a gelish lamp for personal use for gel polish, but im asking if i can use it to cure when i practice doing the extensions with UV Gel, currently using the brand The Edge at college, which isnt a polish but a hard gel instead of acrylic.

You need to find out if The Edge gel is LED curable then as not all gels are. Either contact the company or speak to your tutor.
