Hi geeks

A majority of my clients ask for custom mixed colours (currently using Shellac) although I have most of the colours many of my clients like to tweak them slightly i.e. a bit lighter / dark / more shimmer.

I was thinking about buying clear brisa lite and just creating custom colours instead of the pre-mixed shellac - have any of you done this or something similar?

Looking forward to hearing your views.

Thanks

Forgot to say, I mean Brisa Lite smoothing gel which I occasionally use under Shellac anyway.

Thanks

Yes you can mix additives with brisa lite smoothing gel. 1:3 (additives vs smoothing). Give it a good stir and aply in layers

I did this for the first time last week with bronze effect pigment additive & Brisa lite smoothing gel. Worked well & client was very happy. I had to put two coats of gel on for good colour coverage, lets hope removal is easy!

I just had BL smoothing gel and cerulean blue additive mixed in, it lasted 2.5 weeks without chips and removal was easy as pie :)

Thanks everyone for your replies - beautiful colours Conny :)

Has anyone used this method to 'replace' Shellac?

Thanks
