hi all I'm a natural 1b, with 3 inches of virgin root and shoulder length hair dyed goldwell topchic 6na. I want to be a baby blonde all over. I used to use topchic 11p and blonding cream with 40 vol which toook me a nice warm blonde. However I'm contemplating a full head bleach with oplex and to tone using 11p. Can someone advise the best cleanest bleach to use and what vol? I'm so scared of wrecking my hair but I've pretty much grown all of the high lift out now and just the tint on length and my natural black roots. Please help!

What colour is baby blonde?
Fnd a decent salon and ask for a free consultation.

I prefer doing it myself as hairdressers always have an opinion of what would look best for my complexion etc. And I'm a bit bored of that as I know what I like and accept responsibility for my own damage.

Baby blonde as in a shade 11 or 12. Lightest blonde before platinum. My hair is always warm as is naturally a 1b or 2 but I have plenty of grey running through.

Would I be best using Tigi true light full scalp and then a toner or blondme or loreal hi blond? I just want a powerful but gentler bleach and blondme sounds rather Brutual although I will probably reach the lift quicker.

I don't want to go to a salon so any suggestions on a professional bleach which wouldnt totally kill my hair is appreciated thanks all

There is no level 11/12.. level 10 is the lightest .. and we cannot recommend any professional bleaches to you as you are not qualified and if applying it yourself you'd be very likely to damage your hair. You are best off visiting a few salons with pictures of what you like and see if there's one who you like as consultations are normally free. No professional would advise you to do your own hair.

Unfortunately all salons I've tried won't bleach black hair blonde. Even though I'm well aware it will get damaged. I can't understand that though as they don't want to risk their reputation. However natural black to blonde can be done, with the right bleach. All I wanted was some advice which is best. I worked as a hairdresser a long time ago but I'm not up to speed with which bleaches are best. I understand you don't want to recommend a favourite type of bleach to use. But im sure there's someone out there with experience in dark to light and what's least damaging! Cheers
