Hi All you Hair experts , I am on the beauty side normally, but need some advice please? I recently used a home colour " Live" XXL Deep plum on my bright blonde hair, colour has been fab everyone loved it, no negative responses at all apart from my mother in law lol However once a blonde always a blonde I do intend to go to a good hair salon to go back Blonde, but can anyone tell me the best way of doing it please, as I don't want brassy blond, I want BLONDE lol And I want to know that they are doing it the right way!! Can anyone give me advice please?

Urgh! That Live stuff is awful to remove. (Think NSS nails!)

Make sure the salon knows what you put on your hair and that they take some cuttings of your hair to do tests on before they add any more chemicals.

Some of the Live products coat your hair with a metallic salt substance. When you add bleach mix to it, the hair fizzes, smokes and then disintegrates.

Seriously!

I think I remember Adamlea shedding some light on metallic salts not being present in box dyes?

Go a salon that you feel comfortable with. It is likely it won't happen in one appt.

Just go to a salon with expertise in colour it'll b fine xxl is a hard colour to work with so u won't be blonde in one sitting

Well I have had my hair done today, it lifted straight away & I am now a beige blonde ( 2 Different shades ) all done with Matrix & a good hairdresser, was terrified after what people have said, but thankfully all went well.
Thank you all for your advice, which was taken in a patch test. :)

Post us a before and after :)
