As the title says really, my hair has changed so much in the last year. My layers don't seem to be growing leaving my fine hair totally lifeless, limp, feels too soft leaving it with no style, I'll wash my hair and its ok but once I've slept on it, its totally gone. Looking for an all rounder if anyone can help x

Firstly, why has your hair changed?
Are you on any particular medication or going through hormonal changes that could affect your hair?
Have you been on any restrictive diets?
I would investigate the medical side including checking for vitamin and mineral deficiencies before considering your hair care products.
Are you getting it cut regularly?
My hair is quite fine and thin so I keep it very short as it just looks ‘meh’ if I try to grow it longer. (Obviously, that’s not me in the avatar).

What products have you been using and what would you like to change?

Hi, not on any medication, have had blood tests for all the usual stuff thyroid etc all ok, my eating isn't great but not bad. I had year's of gone wrong balayage think this is a factor I'm mainly brown now. I do think some is hormone related.
I just need these layers gone which is making my fine hair worse, having regular trims even cut my shoulder length hair to a short Bob for layers to catch up.
I do think some of it is aging hair also nearly 40. Sadly I've been using cheap product's which I know is not great. But don't wanna waste money on something that's not gonna work.
I just need a good quality shampoo that will give my hair a bit of ooooomfff.

I love L’Oréal Lisse Unlimited shampoo - it’s a great all rounder, has salyclic acid to keep the scalp nice and clear and get rid of build up, but also a bit of protein to build body/strength and arginine which is good for growth.
