Do you need to be a hairdresser to blowdry & will insurance cover if you’ve taken an accredited blowdrying course?

Evening!
I've taken courses in CND shellac training and waxing. I'd like to know if I took further accredited courses in other areas such as blowdrying, health and safety, hair up styling and tanning. Would I be covered by insurance if when working in a salon i strictly only offered these services? (If i rented a space for example)

No you don’t need to be a hairdresser to do a one day blowdrying course, if it’s accredited then you will be able to be insured. You need to consider how much knowledge you will gain in just one day which will be two blowdries compared to people who have trained for years. Some places offer longer courses.

Just to add if you want to be a hairdresser this may actually be a stepping stone to gaining an apprenticeship. Good luck.
