Dying hair charcoal grey?

I'm not a trained professional but I've been dying my hair since I was a young kid (13) now I'm 17 and looking to dye my hair a color I tried once before but didn't do enough research about. Charcoal grey! Dark like actual charcoal but definitely not black. My question is since this dye shade is not available can I mix 2/3 Pravana silver and 1/3 manic panic raven black? Will this work as a shade mix or should I try different brands? wink2:
