Im looking in to train into Electrolysis but was wandering if this profession is in demand or decline?

Alot of people are turning to laser for hair removal. I do realise laser is not permanent but I seem to see less electrolysis places than before.

More and more beauty places are setting up without offering electrolysis, hence my question.

Also, why are people so dismissive of fast track courses? Electrolysis is being offered fast track and I dont see what the fuss is about. The real challenge is to build up experience.

Anyone done any of these fast track Electrolysis courses such as at the Carlton Institute? How is your electrolysis career going?

Skilled practitioners are very much in demand. Laser limitations are now widely known, so the two mode compliment each other. Electrolysis used to clear large body areas after a course of laser, or to remove hormonal hair chin, neck chest abdomen and thighs.

To have a successful career you do need to be skilled, all the experience in the world is useless if you haven't been trained properly in the first place. If you do fast track make sure you back it up by getting so extra training from a professional electrologist, for at least 6 months. Look at hair tell forum for more info
