Hi Karol,

I have regular Environ facials and I love it. I also use it at home - the two you have chosen are very different and it will depend on what sort of facials you are after. The Nimue range may also be worth a look, dont know how it will compare price wise. I know from a consumers point of view Nimue is less expensive than Environ for the home use products.

In my opinion Environ is more a cosmeceutical skincare range like Nimue, Dermalogica to name a couple. Eve Taylor Aromatherapy will probably be more like Decleor, Guinot etc.

From a consumer, I would go the Environ route.

Thanks Fiona, I am struggling to come up with a Skincare range, so trying to get opinions on different ones to help me decide.
I have the Nimue info pack and like the look of the packaging the cleansing gel was nice but the conditioner and day cream samples stung my face - could be they are the wrong ones for me.
I looked at cheaper brands including Natures way but disappointed to find it contained mineral oils.
I cant afford a huge start up order so the bigger brands are out and I want something that is affordable to clients. Any help is appreciated. This is hard.....

HI hun, the Nimue can be a bit tingly at first, just means it is working and getting your skin in order! Did you use the conditioner on damp cotton wool rather than neat? If your skin is extra sensitive then you would actually be better to use the day and night fader from the hyperpigmented range as it is AHA free. HTH and not confused you further.

I know Deb379 uses the MoorSpa range and really likes them, you could pm her.

Thanks Sass,
Well I got the Eve Taylor info and a few samples - they are gorgeous. I used to be a Decleor girl and still use their Neroli oil and this range seems to be very similar but a fraction of the cost. No Lanolin, no mineral oil and no artificial fragrance, considering the quality of oils Eve Taylor uses I am pleasantly surprised at the prices. The website is still being rebuilt but have a looky here clicky if your interested. Looks like I could have a winner here...

 Hi there, my name is Hayley and I am struggling for skincare too. I am currently using Virgin skincare ( I worked for Virgin for years as a therapist) and have only just recently set up on my own.

I have been looking at Eve Taylor, did you ever get them? they are so reasonable and met the owners at castle Donington last year. They are lovely. so helpful there customer service is very helpful.

I was on the computer tonight looking at Creative nail care as I use there spa manicure/pedicure. Nimue skincare is sold there now. are the cleansers etc. expensive and how much are there packages?

I can only afford small amt so think I will prob. go with Eve Taylor anyway. Whilst I was at Castle Donington I bought a Eve Taylor facial oil for oily skin, a girl came for a facial with quite bad acne. She has never used moisturiser so i recommended her to take the oil free of charge (to be be my guinea pig) to use at home. She has said that her relatives and friends have noticed a great difference with her skin.

Hi there,

I have just opened a salon recently and have taken on the Susan Molyneux skincare range and undertaken their own training. I have previously used Decleor and Natures Way and find that Susan Molyneux is by far the best. They are reasonably priced both for the therapist to purchase and for the client to buy.

A couple of my clients have recently started using the range and now purchase products on a regular basis.

If you want any more information let me know.

Hope this helps.

Lisa

Hi - yep I went for Eve Taylor - it is fantastic! only done a few treatments with it, which the clients raved about but have been using it on myself and love it. Very good value for money ~ I would highly recommend it.

The last time i spoke to the rep.....to stock it you had to spend a first order of £1000+.....way out of my price reach (inc training)

Shame is the bees knees.......

Sassy Hassy can sell you some if its just for yourself.

I use Environ in the salon i work in
Its a nice product unfortunatly it doesnt have a scent,
but u get good results from the facials and homecare.
if you wanted to offer a really relaxing facial and product i wudnt really use it but the facials are relaxing in a different way! hard to explain.
Good results, Retails well x x :wink2:

I've mentioned before that I use Susan Molyneux and I struggle sometimes to order the minimum £50 as I'm just part-time and I feel I don't push the retail side of the skincare products because of this.

Well I've just got a newletter from them and they have raised the min order to £75 (before vat and postage) and I'm certainly not a happy bunny now!

I have been thinking about the Nimue Skincare range and a rep phoned me last Friday but I haven't got back to her yet. I will definately call her back tomorrow afternoon.

I had a couple of samples from Louise from Environ but I was not impressed, sorry.

I had that same problem with Foreveer living products. They were great but 50 pounds mimimum was too much! I use Natures Way but have done a bit of reading up on the mineral oil and don't like what I have found. Should have read up before I bought it, I know, I know.

Has anyone tried Solutions by Hive?
