It's always heartwarming to see beauty folk getting out there and doing something genuinely good for those who need it. This time it was the turn of Racoon International extentionists, Kevin and Helen Roose of Syrupp Hair Salon, to saddle up and complete a 150km bike ride in Ibiza and raise fund for HAIRraising - an appeal to build two new operating theatres at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The pair had little training and were hit with tough terrain and steep inclines but along with 80 other participants from the hairdressing world, including Lee Stafford and John Frieda, they completed the two day ride.
"It was a challenging weekend but we raised almost £2,500 - an amazing achievement," said Helen. "Everyone enjoyed it - especially the end of ride celebratory party in Ibiza's famous Pacha nightclub."
