The 'Big Conversation' programme was launched by Habia in 2011 and is sponsored by VTCT. The 'Big Conversation' is a series of workshops across the UK designed to give educators a chance to talk directly to Habia.
Habia have recently announced that they will host two more Big Conversation events. The first will be held in Eastleigh on Tuesday 12th March and the second will be in Newcastle on Tuesday 16th April.
The events will give attendees the opportunity to discuss key and pressing issues surrounding the beauty industry at the moment such as apprenticeships, the impact of government policies, qualification reform, e-learning, the Habia Skills Academy, the development of a professional register and the Skills passport.
The discussion will be an opportunity to get up close and interactive with discussion and demonstrations of in-demand treatments taking place such as male grooming and media make up.
Rob Young, Habia Managing Direction comments, "The Big Conversation events have been hugely successful and with educators facing unprecedented challenges, it's important we go out there and show how Habia can help. We are fortunate in that we are in the position to explain clearly what is happening to the sector right now, whilst also listening to the concerns, the queries and the difficult questions. It's only by doing so that we can build up a picture of what is really happening in the training sector and develop the solution needed.'
Tickets are £25.00 inc. VAT (Habia members get two free places). To buy tickets go to Habia / News and Events / Habia 'Big Conversation', email [email protected] or call 08456 123 555
Until then...geek on!
