Just had to stock up on CND Shellac™ essentials for Christmas, and for some reason only just realised how expensive scrubfresh seems to be?

Can anyone explain to me why it's double the price of nourishing remover/offly fast yet it contains less ingredients... I would have thought the remover would have cost more as it has the added oils etc where as scrubfresh is literally just acetone, IPA, butyl acetate and blue colouring.

I go through so much of it as well!

I don't have the answer but along the same lines I was disappointed to discover CoolBlue is in a smaller bottle now, it's starting to feel expensive for an antibacterial handwash when there are plenty of others available much cheaper. It's also now in an opaque bottle so it's not even as if anyone can see it's blue to differentiate from any old cheaper version decanted into the bottle.

I can and I do omit the use of coolblue. I'm not saying it with pride and I know the risk and I still use another product in place of this. Just being honest.

Omg wow! I love Scrubfresh! Am amazed to know that essentially it's such a basic recipe. Didn't know it contained acetone tbh because it feels good on the nails.

No judgement here, I've used it since day 1 of my CND training 13 years ago. I love the smell, it kick starts my brain into work mode somehow, I like that it's not drying and it works. Considering how many people I hold hands with each week I'm relatively healthy from a colds/virus perspective and I put that down entirely to regular use of CoolBlue, however, it's just a handwash and there are plenty of other good quality options at a cheaper price point.

ETA - I loathe the new packaging, I think it looks cheap and nasty (yes I have saved an old clear bottle and yes I am seriously considering decanting my new bottle into the old one )

Yep cool blue is expensive for what it is too! I've still got half of the old clear bottle left, but everything else I've got in the new white bottles and I struggle to see what's left in them and know what you mean about how techs could just decant any product into them and the client wouldn't have a clue!

Also Is it just me that gets a bit OCD about the fact that the D sperse container doesn't match the rest of the pep products? Lol! I had a client once asking what it was and "why isn't that from CND like the rest of your stuff"
