Hi, what do people think about express gel manicure treatments in terms of getting quality nails done within 30 to 45 minutes? The express treatment at the salon I work, does not include pushing back cuticles and we aren't expected to use the nippers to get rid of much of the dead skin around the nails. I feel like I'm doing a disservice with express manicures. Without proper prep, I don't think I've done a proper job. But the clients are expecting the same quality as what it should be after an hours work. I had a bride come in and just thought why on earth would you go for express and I just couldn't leave her nails without adding a bit extra effort so went over my time. And I'm going over times regularly and this is not making the boss happy.
