Hiya,
Im just wondering if anyone just stocks express spray tan liquid rather than different percentages?

I qualified in tanning back in april and iv only ever had 1 regular client from it and its coming up to 6months of having my liquids open 6%/9%/13%, express) so I know I will have to buy fresh next month. Iv got 1 litre of 9% thats still sealed but im wondering rather than buying the other percentages should I just get an express tan so it would suit all skin tones? Anyone do this successfully?

Thanks xx

I stock fast tan alongside regular solution. I love fast tan but it has its draw backs-

1. Final result depends on client washing it off at recommended time. This mean colour consistency of each tan is down to clients actions too.
2. If a client is being sprayed late in evening they might not want to wait up to wash it off. Many prefer to leave it on overnight.
3. Fade off isn't as good due to high DHA content
4. When they wash off they have little to no colour as it takes 24hrs to develop fully

A lot of my ladies prefer regular solution for above reasons. Maybe look at stocking a mixable solution so you don't need as much. For example mix equal amounts of 8% and 12%= 10%. Also a few of the tan companies sell smaller 250ml bottles. hth x

I personally love fast tan it's one of my most popular I stock that and 10% and have booster drops if the client wants a deeper tan that they. Can leave over night.

With regards to your left over solutions why don't you run a special offer. Granted you won't make as much as usual but it's better than making a total loss. 😊

Thanks for your replies. Iv run a special offer for october for cheaper spray tans but the only person that took me up on it was a regular. I may just stock the 9% then as it seems pretty versatile, I wasnt sure what the downfalls were to the express tan, I used it once and washed it off after 1hr 30mins, the next day I was really really dark and im very fair skinned but I just thought id not washed it off properly xx

If you are just stocking the 9% you could get some booster drops for clients that wanted to go darker. I'm really pale too but my skin reacts really well to fake tan (I go quite dark). I stock LA fast and Nouvatan 20% and have learnt that I have to wash of earlier then recommended times! I've been surprised at how dark I've gone a couple of times under 2hrs too lol!
