Hi

Sorry this has no doubt been asked loads of time, I am Newley qualified and dont want to ruin my business before it's started with using rubbish hair...I've opened accounts with following but looking for recommendations (weaves & nanos mosty)

Angel remy
Routes
SKJ
Prestige

What's your thoughts on these? I'm going towards routes if I'm honest from looking at lengths/prices etc

I'm going to order colour rings in the next 2 days for the one I choose, I appreciate any help at all!!
Also I'm trying to keep cost reasonable until I'm confident then I will branch out to more expensive brands x

Angel Remy is my go to.

Hair usually lasts 6-12 months. The blondes I can get 6-9 months out of and and the darks usually 8-12 months..... they do all methods and lengths it's a one stop shop.

Prestige in my opinion the quality doesn't match up to the price, their new Russian/Mongolian seems better than the standard hair but the colour range is fantastic.

Routes is good too for a budget supplier, the darks get 6-8 months wear

I would avoid sjk like the plague. I had to replace thousands of pound worth of hair because it was terrible.... But they have said they have a new factory so who knows xx

For every day affordable hair -
I use SJK as my main supplier, low prices and good customer service. The luxury range lasts about 5 months or with 'good clients' they get 8 months!

Hair planet is SJK is out of stock.

Every supplier has good and bad reviews go to there Facebook and read through posts, for me sjk is one of my favourite. I also like studio 58, tasha jacks, archie lloyds.

Hey, ive used Glamorous Lengths but would only use the pure range (quiet expensive) another good one that all my clients love is Foxy Hair Extensions x

Thanks so much! How is the blonde with routes? I would like a decent but keep price good just for few months until I'm established then I want to bring in more expensive, the price for weaves in angel remy are decent but prices for nanos not impressed and I don't like that it's 0.8g a strand :( xx

Thanks a lot everyone. I had bonds with hair planet few years ago and wasn't overall impressed felt they went thin at ends.x

Angel Remy I use 160-180 strands of their hair and even though it's 0.8 it still gives a very thick look.

Routes blonde 4 months max.

Routes work out more expensive than angel Remy x

That's good to know, Every hair I've priced routes is cheaper :/ double drawn 20inch angel remy 10 packs (200 strands) 160g I priced at £205 but routes is only £144 for 150g hair (150 strands at 1g each)
Do you use the double drawn angel remy? Or do you pick the natural ratio nanos.

Even the weave AR double drawn is £140 for 150g and routes is £117 :/ xx

Angel remy all the way, their hair is great and lasts forever. Ive got clients with 9 months of wear and the hairs still perfect, and they're blonde!
Only annoying thing is their 18" which is my most popular length is natural ratio not double drawn, so it's too thin for some clients. And they run out of colours quite often, or don't stock them in the length/method you need which isn't great.
Still trying to find a decent 18" double drawn nano supplier, I'm trying out transform xtensions next.

I use SJK when I can't get the shades I need from angel, but this is a push as I don't find the quality lives up. And have found they can be quite knotty at times.

I tried routes on a few clients and wasn't happy with the quality at all, but could possibly be a budget range for clients.

Angel Remy is far superior than routes.

But for me my clients will pay extra for decent hair xx

Do you use the natural ratio then? I was going to use 20inch DD and cut but then paying extra to just cut it :( ahhh not sure what to do I really want to stick with angel remy just not Keen on this natural ratio x

Yeah I think I want AR as my main supplier, do you use the natural ratio with them or double drawn? X

Glamlox Hair Extensions for middle range
Angel Remy for budget

I do have a lot of clients that the natural ratio is good for, if their hair is thick I just explain the situation and 9 times out of 10 they go for the 20".
You're welcome to have a little flick through my Instagram, everything 18" on there is the natural ratio hair. Might give you a little peace of mind @strandhairextensions

Prestige is fantastic! The only supplier I've ever actually had consistent stock from that's always good quality. 6+ months for the blondes and 9+ for the darks. Even longer with their new Russian/Mongolian!

Angel remy's ok but their stock control is awful, you'll never be able to do a colour match and order what you actually need [emoji23]

I used to use routes - I tested the hair out with my friend who is a hairdresser and she weighed one strand and it came out less that 0.5g! Not sure if this was a one off. was a blonde shade x
