Hello!
Im a beauty geek but absolutely obsessed with my hair!

I have been wearing extensions for years now..Initially a braided weave for a couple of years then moved on to a different method (Micro links are used and some sewing but it's with strips of weft) I am having remy couture hair atm.

Basically, it's costing me a fortune overall...It's 240 for the hair and fitting which I know probably doesn't seem a lot but they are only lasting me 4 months before I have removal, bin the hair and have a new lot. And then maintenance every 4-6 weeks. I feel like I can't wear my hair straight as it doesn't blend so I use my heated rollers and I can't wear it up cause it doesn't blend that great either.

Can someone please recommend an alternative method? Please no sly remarks as I understand you get what you pay for but I feel like there must be a better technique out there which will leave me feeling happier!

Alternately anyone who is based in South/West Yorkshire area please get in touch! Xx

If you pay a bit more out you can have hair that lasts a whole year, you'll still need maintenance appointments but the actual hair will last longer quality wise, the hair you have now is most likely budget range if that's all your paying, extensions really are a commitment, buying cheap is ok if your just trying them out but realistically if you want hair that's going to last you've gotta pay for it

I understand that you get what you pay for..I don't mind paying out more initially so I can have maintenance for longer before removal..So..Does anyone have any recommendations on hair or methods that they personally prefer? x

I'm based in West Yorkshire and offer different grades depending on budget. It's all about trial and error of suppliers really. And they should blend with your Hair if your technician has cut them properly.

Nano double drawn is good. Does cost more but it has a life of 9-12 months.
If your hair isn't blending with the extensions I would suggest getting a different extensionist.
I wear Indian vibrant colours and they last me 6 months.

Hi, do you have a Facebook page or website I could view please? x

Thanks, my layers are short so I understand that this makes it more difficult but I can never wear it in a pony tail cause there's too much hair left above and I used to love wearing it like this! Just wavy or a bun for it to look nice. I hate bad extensions so I'm really conscious on how they look! x
