I'm a bit hesitant posting this as I dont want to hurt the girls feelings if she is on here but I have no idea what to do. So I got my eyebrows done at a beauty salon near my work on discount because we are doing cross advertisement. I told the women that I wanted them a little darker as my hair is red and my eyebrows were blonde and bushy. The really needed a clean up and reshape. She said she didn't want to go too thin and so I said okay since she was the professional. She said she is going to colour them first and then get rid of the fine hairs around the edge and I okayed it. So after she waxed them she said there were still a few blond hairs and that she needed to re-colour them. I thought she meant she would just colour those parts but she re-coloured the whole thing. I thought it was unusual but let it go. Afterwards she mentioned she did them a little darker as blonde hair fades. She went to grab a mirror and couldn't find one so she pulled out a makeup mirror and showed me. I could only see my eye and eyebrow. I couldn't see my hair. I walked out to pay already unsure and then the owner said to me (with a concerned face) "Is that really what you asked for?" The beautician piped up and said "Yeah. Its going to fade quickly. And the skin is stained underneath" and so I didnt raise my concerns. When I got back to work I saw how bad it was. My eyebrows are black and seem like a cool tone. They completely clash with my hair. I don't know what I can do as they actually make my hair look bad too.

Tinting after waxing is a huge no no! You could have had a really bad reaction, never mind being unhappy with the colour you could have ended up with a severe allergic reaction!
I would go back and tell the salon owner what happened, the therapist needs more training.

The thing is the owner is my bosses friend.

Thats another thing. I dont think I felt many hairs pull at all. I remember finding odd that there was no pain. That being said she wiped my brows with a solution beforehand.

Yes I agree tinting after waxing is a huge no! I would defo go back and ask for a refund!
Are you a hairdresser? If you have any stain remover at work you could try toning it down a bit with that?
