I got my eyebrows semi permanent tattooed on Monday 5 days ago! I love them! They have started to scab which is fine but the side I sleep on has got a huge gap in now as the scab has fallen off and it looks like there's isn't any colour underneath? I'm having to pencil this is! I'm due to go back in 4 weeks for a retouch but I'm worried I'm going to look a mess and have to pencil in the gaps until then? I can't understand how there isn't any colour under where the scab was either? Xx

I wouldn't mess with them at all juat wait until all the scabs have come off. .
Id also let the lady that did them know and see what she says x

Just freshly done the pigment is right at the surface...it takes 4 weeks for the skin to completely scab, heal and settle, any gaps will be fixed at your touch up. You should NOT apply any pencil, you could be risking infection by doing so! Apply your after cream or Vaseline to keep the area soft so less scabbing and don't pick either.

I did mine too on Thursday- I love them, they are still a bit dark so not sure what they will fade to. what cream are you using? I'm using bepanthen, no scabs yet but then it's only been a couple of days. I think the trick is to get them to scab as little as possible so the colour stays in? Like a normal tattoo? I'm sure she can put it right at your touch up appointment?

Exactly as pinkthistle said, don't worry that's what the retouch is there for xx

Update on mine: I did them on Thursday and they have scabbed in places now and are starting to heal and some the scabs are starting to come off-I can already see a couple of bits which need touching up :-(

I think I kind of got used to them being really dark (which I hated at first but 5 days in and I kinda like them dark and really bold) so now they are fading I'm feeling sad lol! I guess I just have to wait till all the scabs have come off and see what they look like then. I'm booked for a touch up in a month.

How are yours OP?

Well mine are all healed now, I had a touch up 4 weeks later but there were hardly any areas which actually needed it so it didn't take long. They finished up dark enough and very natural looking, I was panicking for no reason because they were fine in the end. I still love them so much!

Awww sorry to hear that! The touch up was painful for me too. To be honest Mine didn't really scab in all the places some of it just went dry, so the colour wasn't drawn out too much with the scabbing and so the tattoo really makes a difference to my brows. Maybe go a bit darker on your touch up?

Yeah when I first had mine done I was in love! I have black hair so I thought the darkness of them and the boldness of them was perfect but now the scabs come away they don't look much different than before if I'm honest but my touch up is free ofcourse so in gonna go in sat and pretty much get them done again coz like I said the entire scab has come off! Did all your scabbing come off?? Xx

Your technician won't do your retouch on Saturday, it has to be 4 weeks minimum to ensure the brow has completely healed, after the treatment when the scabs have come off its normal for it to look like there isn't much there because your skin is healing over, after a few weeks the colour will come out.
Don't mess with them just do as instructed. You must follow all aftercare given by your technician. If she does go over it again so soon you will risk scarring and pigment migration.
This thread scares me, I know your asking advice which is great for a brow tint but micro pigmentation is serious stuff and you should always contact your technician if you have any concerns so she can stop you putting pencil over them and risking infection.
Xx

It definitely does look darker in time, it all settles down. Be patient and go darker at your touch up in a few weeks if still not happy!

This is mine straight after they aren't so dark now but still pretty much the same
