I have been doing lashes for three years and I feel like I've got the whole thing down pretty well but I have a client who's eyes do not close all of the way! I am super careful when applying the tape/pads (I've tried them all) to her bottom lashes and I make sure it's never too close to her waterline. I have even placed a heavy gel pad on the top lids to assist in keeping them closed. She has a day or two of redness after every visit and it's very uncomfortable for her, not to mention how unsafe that is. I'm beginning to think I need to have the dreaded, "lash extensions aren't for everyone" talk. I'm sad because she has been such a great client and sends people to me left and right. Any suggestions on tricks to help her eyes stay closed during the application?
