Hi guys well I done my friends eyelashes last week, and she said that they have all come out already I only put about 30lpe.. She has been using her own mascara and I know it weakens the glue but surely a week is way too soon? I'm using the marvel lash student kit at the moment I don't know if it's the glue which isn't strong enough has anyone else had this problem... Or if I've done something wrong, I feel really bad she paid me £15 pound to Do them, shall I do another set for free? X:irked:

You will be surprised at the amount of damage normal mascara can do to eyelash extensions, also its much harder to get off so do more damage to them then.

It really is a hard one to say whether to do them again, have you had anyone else complain if so it might be that the glue isnt strong enough (not sure never used marvel lash) or maybe need to go back to basics with technique I know I had this a while ago a few customers losing loads of lashes was still using same glue, knew that the clients were taking proper care etc etc I went back to basics and think I had just got lax in my application as re did them (free of charge) and one girl went 4 weeks before her next infill!!!!!!!!

If you havent had anyone else complain and you can hand on heart say that you are sure your application was good then I would say it was the use of the mascara and the client should pay to have them redone

Hth's

Thanks for the reply well I done her sisters a couple of days before and i asked if any of hers fallen out and she said no and that she had loads left so maybe she hasn't been takin proper care With them( she told me she pulled some Out which I told her off for lol! I am thinking about changing my glue I've read loads of posts and it hasn't come up much for being one of the best, I also done my other friend last night so I'll see how hers are in a week before I decide to buy a different glue! I'm so gutted after reading this post, I purchased the Marvel Lash Kit recently from Capital, my course was supposed to be next week, but 'due to lack of numbers' wont be going ahead. My Cousin's volunteered to be my 1st model as I've been begging her to stop having Cluster lashes which have ruined her natural lashes (not done by me might I add!).

After reading many posts, I reckon I may replace the Marvel glue with Lash Emporium and hope the rest of my kit will suffice:irked:

the thing withh marvel is i found the glue would take ages to dry so would stick to neaghbouring lashes. this could be good for you whilst u practise ure technique.just keep the lash isolated 4 quite a while also i found the glue was not strong at all and lashes were off within a week!
the other thing is marvel lashes dont come in different curls they are all probably a j curl so it always looks boring ( in my opinion).. but this also could be a good thing whilst training as the straighter the lash the more surface area u r likely to get glued.... again ok wile u r practising... dont be disheartned (i know how u feel my marvel kit is almost still intact lol)
i only trained in june but do on average 1 or 2 sets a day and very quickly u will learn tips/tricks and i can honestly say i am now totally obsessed with lashes lol

Thank you Lisa for replying. I've watched a few videos from other members this eve and have spent the rest of my evening looking at items to change my kit- including D,C,Y,W lashes at different lengths, thickness'.... It's a mine field (I believe C is the best?). I really don't think that the Marvel Lash kit was even worth the cardboard it comes in!
I have had a practice on some strip lashes this eve..OMG, it's difficult using the left hand to separate! I've been a Beauty therapist for 10yrs and I'm sure this is going to be my biggest challenge to date! Lol
Which system would you recommend? Thanks in advance... So glad I found this site! xxx
