Hi everyone,

So My best friend owns a salon and has booked me onto an eyelash course and wants me to start working in her shop. Obviously not straight away but after a lot of practice!! I'm due on the course on the 8th October so isn't that far away so I'm wanting to get things into place and start buying supplies for practicing as we don't get a kit included with th course I'm doing.

My problem is what brand of eyelashes/glue are the best?? The amount of stuff on the Internet is just mind boggling. I have heard not to go with marvel lash? But what really are good products to use and what are people using in their salons? I'm really wanting to make a go of this and want everything to be right but I'm getting stressed with looking and not knowing what to go for.

Any help of anyone who does eyelashes would be brilliant and much appreciated.

Thanks
Gemma

I've been looking and sky glue is coming up a popular one? Would people agree? And seen some good reviews for lash base eyelashes?
What are people's opinions on tweezers? Also can people recommend to me what sort of curls and lengths are the most popular?
All your help and answers for me starting out will be much appreciated 😊

Eyelashes is certainly not one of the treatments you practice before your training. If a kit is not included or available to buy when you do your training I'd recommend waiting until after your training & then resourcing what your told you need & deciding on brands etc from recommendations then.

It all depends on which eyelashes you are training in as to which glues are best, also the best glues are not always the best ones to learn & practice with once you've trained.
Lashbase is a great supplier.
Hth
& good luck with your training :)

Thanks for your reply. I'm not going to practice before my course but just wanting to have ideas for what to buy so I can have stuff ready to practice after the course and what is suggested as the best of things.

My best advice would be to contact the company your doing your course with & ask for a kit/equipment check list. As dependant on which type of eyelash course your doing will depend on what kit you will need.
