hi, im hoping someone could help me.
iv recently had eyelash extentions which i was really pleased with, but i would now like them removed as they are not looking as good as they should now. the eylash has started to come away at the base but is still glued to the rest of my lash. which is irritating slightly and looks odd close up. the thing is i asked the salon if they would take them off but they reccomend not as your own lashes get pulled out too, they said i should let them come out naturally. any advise please, i really dont want to loose my own lashes. thanks x

Any reputable lash technician will offer a removal service alongside application, using a professional lash remover.
You can go to any salon /therapist and they will safely remove them and it DOES NOT pull out your natural lashes.
Failing this, you can rub an oily moisturiser or baby oil into your lashes and leave to seep into the glue bonds, it will take a while but that is the best diy way to remove them.

hi, thanks for the advise. i will definately go back to the salon. sorry for the late reply, im new to the site and it took me a while to find my original message to see if i had any replies. thanks again x:Grope:

iv rang the salon back and they said they can remove them but one of the woman i spoke to said they shouldnt be removed as the glue desolvent ruins your own lashes! so i have had no choice but to do it myself using olive oil. i had to do this as because iv previously mentioned the base of the lashes had come unglued but the middle hadnt. im absolutely gutted as so many of my own lashes came out too. ( i pray they grow back cause it looks awfull) im so unhappy because as i was looking at the lashes the false one was not just attached to one of my own lashes but several. do you think my own lashes will ever grow back? i really cant explain how gutted i am.

thanks in advance x

Hi, sorry to hear about your experience. I can't believe they wouldn't remove them for you, well told you that it ruins your lashes. This is not true, we've been working with eyelash extensions for over 6 years and many of our clients have had them removed. If they are removed correctly without pulling at your lashes then there is no reason that they should ruin your own.
Your lashes will grow back as your natural lashes grow for 1 month then rest for 2 months before finally shedding.

Hope this helps you x

I can't actually believe what I am reading. How can a salon apply eyelashes and then not have a removal service  It sounds like you had express lashes hun as you have said it looks like the false lash has been applied to a few of your donar lashes. If you received extensions then these are all applied on individual lashes. Did they let you know how long the lashes should last for? I am afraid I would be inclined to go back to the salon and let them see what a mess they have made with your lashes. Am wondering if you could use some eyelash enhancing serum from Boots to help them grow back.

Name and shame the salon! I cannot believe they would not remove them for you - Even cluster lashes can be removed professionally without causing damage x

As stated your natural lashes will grow back and look gorgeous soon x

Hi hun. I have recently done an eyelash course with HOLLYWOOD LASHES. They are AMAZING!!! The course was fantastic. When you call them for advice after training you get to speak directly to the owners of the major company whos names are Alan and Angie. They have so much time for you and I cannot praise them enough. The lash course that they offer is either at their work shops in a group of 4 other lash technician students, or you can do what I did and have them come to your home and train you there which is what I did. This costs alot more money but its one on one training and it doesnt get better than that. They use different types of lashes too, from synthetic, silk and Mink. Theyhave their standard kit or you can tweek it to your liking like it did. I use the Mink lashes and so many of my now new clients say they love the look of the lashes better than the synthetic ones alot of salons do. They are basically alot more glossier and look like they have a bit of mascara on is the only way i can describe it.
Give them a call. Hollywood lashes. It will be the best investment you will do. I did so much research on lash courses and the quality of the lashes from independant people on google reviews inc other established lash techs and you will hardly ever hear a bad word about them.
Good luck hun.x
