Hey geeks . . .

I am underway on my beauty course but am planning ahead. We have just started facials which I am really enjoying but am looking into what equipment is needed. We are using Dermalogica products which I am finding amazing so am hopefully sticking with them once I qualify but would any of you kind geeks list / let me know what equipment is needed from start to finish on a full facial. I will be a mobile therapist.

Would really appreciate some help

Aside from products and implements you may also need:

- a bed
- a stool for yourself (maybe one for the client too to step on when getting onto the bed)
- blanket
- pillow
- headband/disposable cap to protect hair
- steamer
- bowls for hot water
- table for your products
- towels
- couch roll

That's some if the things I can think if for now. Might remember more later.

Unfortunately Dermalogica won't supply mobile therapists. In fact most of the large companies won't.Have a search on here for skin care ranges and you w ill find some good brands that will.

If you really want to specialise in facials you might want to consider a Woods Lamp too. If you would like a sample pack of our products do let me know. We are more than happy to supply mobile therapists!

Thanks Lynne, that would be brilliant. Do you want me to PM you my details??

Before I started out, I thought facials would be my least enjoyable treatment but I really enjoy carrying them out so hopefully they will be a big part of my business.

Personally, My skin has changed since I have started using Dermalogica (for the better) so I was hoping to do this for my clients but if there are similar products out there I would love to see / hear about them.
