Hello,
Recently I had to travel by air. I obviously had to check my bag containing my polygel, slip solution and other liquid and gel nail supplies. However, someone mentioned to me after the trip that it is possible to board a plane with these, avoiding the 3.4oz rule, by saying that they are work related supplies. I'm not sure how accurate this is, however it was a fellow nail tech who said that she had done this.
So I'm curious if anyone else has carried on nail supplies as "work supplies" and not checked them.
I'm even curious if anyone has any tips for air travel with nail supplies.
(I was so scared that someone would steal my $600 efile out of my bag that I carried on the shank part and power cord in my purse, I figured no one would steal the desktop part with no shank or plug, lol)
