So I have an assessment to write up for my exam on my course but I’m rubbish when clients aren’t in front of me. I basically have to write out step by step how I would do the service.
Can everyone check how my service sounds (we have to assume her hair condition isn’t bad and can handle the service)

Client A hasn’t had her hair done for a while, she has decided that she would like to go lighter as her greys are coming through. She’s the natural base of a 7 and has around 4inches of Regrowth. Her ends have previously been coloured with profession colour to a very warm base of an 8. She doesn’t want to go lighter all in 1 session as she doesn’t want a full head of bleach all at once she wants to do it gradually.

My answer: I would do some Foils with bleach & 6% on the roots and use a bleach & 3% on the ends to lift the colour evenly. I would do a full head of these Foils. If the client doesn’t want to see any white hair/ natural I’d then go in with a colour in between of around the base of an 9 with some cool tones through it

How does this sound? Or have I screwed up somewhere what would everyone else do?

The colour in between needs to have some base in e.g. 9.0 to cover the cover grey x

So maybe 9.38 and 9.0 (that's wella)

Does the rest sound okay? I'm thinking of saying I'd go inbetween with a 8 base as tint doesn't lift tint and the client has based 8 tint on the head ends

It depends what colour line you use. They really should specify what perecentage of grey you need to cover as quasi colours can give up to 70% grey coverage with base shades in with the tonal shades, and I know my colour line Schwarzkopf will also give you up to 70% coverage with their permanent tonal shades. Xx
