Hi Any suggestions on what colours to use on a natural redhead. My client is around a level 7, virgin hair and wants highlights and lowlights. She has blonde and chocolate brown in mind. Really not sure how this will look. Would a highlift tint work and maybe a natural base colour of a 6 for the lowlghts. I mainly use Wella. Any colour suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance:D

High lift I have found to be to warm, maybe bleach with 3% or 6% dependent on if you doing full or half head and for the dark maybe a 6.07 with a bit of base 7.0 in loreal to kill the warmth a bit I personally would just do highlights

i would use a 12/1 hilift as you want to kill some warmth but keep it so it tones in with the hair. I wouldn't do a brown lowlight, i'd be inclined to maybe go for a deeper red colour. I guess that i just think natural redheads are too gorgeous a colour to totally change (my daughter is one)

Hi thanks for your replies. Totally agree to leave the brown out, like you say maybe a deeper red. Always good to get some advice Cheers:D

I would use a 7.44 (majirel) and intensify some of the copper. Love redheads!
