Foot file?

Hi I don't have a clue about beauty but I have hard skin on my big toes and a bit on the bottom of my feet just wondered what the best foot file would be I can use at home I need a proper file the other things I had were more exfoliating and do I need like a buffer for afterwards? Thanks in advance x

Another vote for the microplane sounds silly but it changed my life no more hard skin for me or my clients!

Not with the microplane, use it dry
