Just popped over from hair for some help!

Any recommendations on a foundation? My skin isn't excessively oily but I feel like whatever i use it just seems to slide off within a few hours, or is it a good primer, or setting product that i need? :o I like something quite full coverage, currently using MAC xx

I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk which is light to medium coverage so maybe not best suited for your skin/coverage preference, but I use Laura Mercier primer which is amazingggg , makes foundation stay all day! And finish my makeup with Nars Illuminating translucent loose powder (not sure of that's the exact name but something like that!), I find with primer and finishing powder my makeup stays a lot better :) x

Jane Iredale pure pressed mineral base. Great coverage, easy to top up throughout the day, although I rarely do, and actively good for your skin.

One thing to watch out for; that your primer and foundation don't counteract each other.

Water based foundation- go with a water based primer (Laura Mercier does a nice one)

Oil based- oil primer

Silicone based- silicone primer (Smashbox are known for their silicone primers)

It's hard to recommend a foundation without seeing your skin, but when I have clients who want super long lasting, I usually go in with DoubleWear, Illamasqua Skin Base or increasingly Vichy Dermablend, which I am very impressed with. I've trialled it on a few of my spottier/oilier candidates and the finish and longevity is brilliant. Shade range is appalling though!

Hope that helps x
