My client wanted to take a break from full head bleach highlights and try to leave her hair alone for a while, so we decided that I would take a cross section from the crown to above the ear and everything in front of that would be an on-scalp bleach & tone and everything behind it would be (first session) full application 8/3 and afterwards left to grow out. 9 months later we have maybe 3 inches of natural regrowth at the back (base 8/1) with maybe 5-6 inches of 8/3 plus old highlights, and we are still bleaching and toning the roots at the front to maintain a white blonde front section.

Now she wants to go back to full head highlights, but two colours - a bleach blonde, and a creamy or beige blonde. I want to use a 12 series, but which is going to give me the best results? I don't want any gold in it at all, just a cool sandy, creamy or beige effect, so I'm tempted to use Koleston 12/89 or 12/18 even, but since it's a full head I'm a bit concerned about turning the bleached front section purple or grey. Do I need a third colour, maybe a 10, for the front section? Will another brand give me a more dependable result?

Advice please, Geeks! Thank you!
