Hi,

My clients hair has a bleached Balayage. The ends are a warm level 8 and the roots are a level 4. Her hair is healthy and not porous. She wants to go to her natural hair color to a level 4-5, but more on the cooler side no reddish chocolate Brown.
I thought i could use 1 Part wella color touch 7/7 + 2 Parts 1,9% Peroxide to Pre pig. Then go over with 5/0 Mixed with a bit 4/1 or 5/1 and 1,9% Peroxide.

What do you say or what would you suggest? I‘mopen to use other brands but I learned with Wellaand i am familiar with the Brand.

Thank you

Hi if the level 8 is warm and the desired result is cool I would be tempted not to pre pig

Thank you, but don‘t you think the result will be greenish?
I‘m not sure...

If her hair is healthy color touch demi color @ 1.9% developer is not strong enough to penetrate in to the cortex where the melanin resides making it bond on to the outer cuticle only. For more lasting permanent results I would use permanent color with 10vol/3% with the 7.7 for the prepig. The target of 5.0+5.1 will be best. The .0/N series in coloring has a balanced amount of RYB pigments in it so it will have enough R in it to just balance out the color without being too R & a little extra ash wont hurt for the 5.1.

I don’t know wella too well but Schwarzkopf have coloured expert mousses that you dry in that are great xx

@vividamnesia thank you! Do you think koleston or illumina is the better choice?
@Eloise86 oh yes i Know! I have heard of them, but i am not sure how to use this mousses. And what color to choose for my client.

5.88 is the red 8.77 for the copper 9-1/2.5 for yellow. They are intermixable as depending on the depth you may need to mix them put them on and roughly dry them in xx

@Eloise86 thanks! I found this :) it gives the same advice
