It was the first night in our new salon last night and the heating broke just before my app. I mean, it got so cold I almost-lost-the-motion-in-my-hands cold - definitely less than 0.

I use The Gel Bottle & on application, the consistency was soooo much thicker than usual (which is very thick already) and sticky. The clients hands were frozen too.

I applied gel as usual over basecoat which was on acrylic (also slow to set due to clients hands.) However, this morning my client has said that she has slight lifting of the gel on 2 fingers.

I'm presuming the cold as I done everything else as normal and TGB usually lasts weeks?

SOS

Probably the gel crystalising with the cold. I'd have cancelled the client personally but it's done now. I'd get her back and re-do for free.

Thanks for the advice. It was a last minute booking and I'm fairly new to the industry so it didn't come into mind however that will be taken on board.

Thanks again :)
