hi geeks!!

Trying to perfect my gel extensions, I'm using cuccio t3 which seems great!

Please see attached picture, any feedback would be great but please be gentle

These are some nails I did on myself last night, I'm aware I'm a little far out from the nail bed but apart from that I'm pretty happy. Looking to start offering extensions once I feel that are up to scratch!

we need a side view and barrel shot for full feedback but from what I can see you need more stress area apex and to slimline the sidewalls a little..not much, just straighten them and the nail will look slimmer and sleeker

Not enough product at the stress area and flat apex is a common issue with Gel in the beginning. Gel is a self-levelling product so it wants to make itself flat, nails do not want to be flat, they need strength and an apex so you have to battle physics and gravity. You'll need to ensure correct placement of the bulk of your gel in the first place, maybe turn the finger over so gravity pulls the product into the correct shape and possibly flash curing to hold it in place whilst you do the other nails, then full cure all of them - I don't use Cuccio so they may have other solutions, your training should have covered apex placement and troubleshooting.

Thanks very much for your feedback, much appreciated! Will have another go tonight with your comments and see what I come up with!

I do have a side shot of that helps at all?

Yep, a little flat, it will snap at the hypernychium if put under any stress from below. Check out this link to Nails Magazine, there is a view of the apex towards the end. You might need to make it a little larger than they show but it will give you a visual to aim for.

(just because they are talking about a french nail don't discount it, the structure is still the same)
