Hello Geeks,
I am very happy I found this site, it seems to be very helpful.I am not a professional and needed some advice please. I have been practicing gel nails for about 2 month had many practices on my friends. The problem seems to be that the nail is lifting from the cuticle and the nail is chipping at the bottom of nail ( corners). Also when I am doing refill sometimes the gel doesnt bind to the old gel it chipps right at the bottom on corners and only the new gel chipps the old gel stays on, I am not sure If it doesnt want to bind to ther old gel because it is not the same gel the did a new set in a different place. I was trained by one of my friends who was trained also . I was using LCN products . Now I switched to a diferent gel i thought it might be gel that causing it because I do all the steps as follows for a new set :
1. Sanitize hands ( mine and my friends)
2. Push back cuticle
3. File the nail so all the shine has been removed.
4. Apply connex plus LCN which is a liquid form removes all the oily stuff.
5. Put tips on.
6. Apply a thin layer of bonder. (brush it in) on whole nail even the tip
7.After curing bonder for 1 minute Without cleaning surface I am applying One Component Resin F
8.Buff the nail
9.. Applying a french tip of any colour.
10. After curing for a minute and a half I am applying another layer of One Component Resin F and curing it again
11.Buff the nail to make it straight.
12. Apply Seal LCN- cure for 120 sec. and clean nail
13. File at the bottom.
14. Wash hands
15. Cuticle oil and Lotion.
That was for a new set and for a Fill I do pretty much the same.

Please let me know if there is anything missing or incorrect. All of my friends has been expierence either chipping on nails more then one or gel lifting at the top( tips stays on very strong).
Thank you.
