So I'm going to do a Gel polish course fast track

To be able to use shellac do I need to do a shellac course or is that just a brand of gel polish?

And gelish ? what's the difference with that to gel?

I don't believe that you NEED to do the shellac-specific training to be able to use it (as long as you have your manicure training), however I would always recommend undertaking any training with the actual brand that you are going to use. The educators will be able to tell you all about the specific nuances of each product and tell you exactly how to use it for best result - something you won't get on a generic training course.

Gelish is, I believe, just a standard gel polish.

I'd do the conversion course, you'll learn how to get the best out of it that way which will give your clients better results.

You'll need the CND lamp purchased from Ellisons or sweet squared to do the training. They sell starter kits with all the correct prep products plus a few colours.

I'd recommend the 2 Day Shellac Beginners class as there is kit included as well as 2 days training and is at a great price

Shellac and Gel are different products; shellac is a hybrid nail polish and gel is pure monomer which under UV light, it is cured to form a polymer. I'd suggest you to read the manual but you don't need specific training to use shellac. Instead, ask which training providers are accepted for you to source shellac.

Gelish is a brand and under the soak off branch, it is a soft gel product that I use with success. It also applies slightly differently to other gel nail polish brands where the foundation is applied differently. Gelish also has the hard gel and the newer polygel which are used to make nail enhancements.
