hi just woundering if any one has come across gel polish after a week becoming sticky and chipping. It's the 1st time it's happened to me. Normally my clients stay on well as I'm very OCD about my prep. It's a colour I have never used but I brought 5 months ago. All my other gels I'm the range are fine, have never used it till now so could be a faulty bottle, but wanted to check. I'm planning to try it on one of my nails as a test run to see if it does the same. Thanks in advance for any insight

Hi
What brand are you using?
Thanks

Gel polish can't 'uncure'. If it was cured properly when it came out of the lamp a week ago then it's cured, nothing can change that. If its starting to go sticky it sounds like its disolving, this will down to some kind of product. There are various things that break down Gel Polish, acetone (obviously), Cillet Bang is a nightmare, Deet the insect repellent, some suntan lotions, etc. I suspect its more likely to be something like that
