Gel polish over hard gel?

Hi

I qualified in Cyprus as a nail tech 3 years ago but didn't do anything with it. I would like to get back into doing nails but i have a few questions

Can you use gel polish on top of hard gel nails or will this make the hard gel crack?

Has anyone used the brand E.MI gels? If so what are your opinions?

How long in the beginning did it take you to complete a full set of nails?

Never heard of E.MI Gels but as for the other 2 questions
You can apply gel polish over any enhancement. Just buff the surface slightly and apply your gel polish colour*2 and top coat. You won't need any base coat as the enhancement already plays that part
It takes me about 2-2.5h for a hard gel French with nail art on 1 nail.

E.MI. - I have shop near by, friend of mine told me, that they have good (even great) products. I myself have never tried them. The price of their hard gels is one of the highest in the industry I have seen so far, I believe you can have products of the same quality for less money - my friend also had the same opinion.
Takes me ~2-2,5h, as well, to do hard gel overlay + paint with design or french.

I am still on the hunt for the perfect hard gel. As you are EU based, I would suggest searching for EU made products - that's what I do. You could look into American companies, but for me it just seems such a hustle to get my hands on them, if there ain't distributor in the EU + the price is higher due to shipping, VAT and such expences.
Salon I work at uses Alex Beauty Concept (German company) products - they are really good, yet the price is on the high side.
I, my-self, am currently trying out INK London (UK company) products - I love their gel polishes, but I haven't yet formed my opinion about their hard gel, however, may nail techs on here say they love it. Price of their products is really good.
I also would like to try out Indigo Nails Lab (Polish company) products - have heard good rewievs, but the price is also on the high side, however, cheaper than E.Mi. or Alex Beauty Concept.
All of mentioned are professional companies. You just have to search and evaluate what would fit the best for you - what works for me, may not work for you and vice versa.
