Gel vs hybrid?

Hi guys, I bought the red carpet manicure kit last year but am now looking at using hybrid gels like shellac or gelicious as have heard they are kinder to the nail.... Is this correct? I've never used shellac or gelicious, how long do they last?

Also, as I already have a led lamp can I use this with hybrid polishes as I'd rather not have to buy another one.....

Any advice is greatly received!

Hi, what training have you had? As far as I was aware, red carpet and gelicious are both brands you can buy without training. X

Shellac is a professional only range, and without appropriate training you would not be able to purchase it. If you are interested in training have a look on the sweetsquared web site, all the info you need is there.
