Hi there all, I am new to this and just wanted to ask, do any of you use the Essential Nails products Gelaze. I dont want to get more gel polishes etc if this is not a good product. I am looking into the Gelish aswell but thought of this first? Many thanks, any advice is great :)

Hi, I also studied with EN and used Gelaze but didn't continue as I didn' find it a good enough product. I know use Gelish and get clients that' nails last up to 3/4 weeks with no chips but I find all the colours are so different and some don't seem to last as long but I think that's more down to me learning how to applying the different types. I would advice to go with a bigger brand like Gelish or Shellac.

Thank you so much. I have read so much its alot to take in whats best, but will get qualified then get Gelish :) Who do you get your Gelish from if I may ask? There is one company here I can use once qualified but would like to get some before to practice with.

I used Gelaze and absolutely hated it. The application was terrible and a lot of the colours were thin and patchy. And it peeled. I binned the lot. Shame as I love the China Glaze range for standard polish. It's worth investing in a top quality gel with training.

I get mine from Nail Polish direct or Sally's, I need to set up an account with Gelish though its just finding the time. I found a really good deal with Gelish through Sally's when buying in my first lot of colours, it was a sparkle training kit or something but came with a carry bag, 10 colours plus top, base, cuticle oil, bonder, remover and cleanser and also some files. I would recommend seeing if you can get a discount code and order the set. The gekish lamp is also really expensive but worth investing in.
