Hi there,

I’m a spray tan therapist looking to widen my skills set!

I would like to train in the gel nails and just wanted to know what you thought was best, either the Gelish system or Shellac.

Also, does anyone know of any good training schools in North West Kent/South East London?

Any pointers would be so much appreciated.

Hi lovey

To do shellac (which is a power polish) and gelish (a gel polish) you need a manicure certificate to begin with. Once you have this you can train in shellac with liza smith at the cnd academy in sittingbourne via sweet squared www.sweetsquared.com or gelish which i think is in crayford- think they have site www.nailharmonykent.co.uk

Sweet squared offer a full natural nails course (complete course i think its called- check out the link above) as well as other providers in the kent area.
