Get Easier????

Tonight was my first night to do a single nail on acrylics at college.

HOW HARD!!!! Thought it might of been just me but think everyone struggled.

I do hope it gets easier, as at the moment I've come home feeling really let down by myself. :sad: :cry:

Don`t allow yourself to get down about it Sarah, as you`ve seen already you`re not alone. Think about it positively, you`ve made a start and thats a point in the right direction.
It does get better, trust me I`m a nail technician, lol
No honestly, it does get better and better and better. There isn`t a better occupation in my opinion so pick yourself back up and get that positive hat on, we`re all here for you

It does get easier, eventually! My first sets of nails looked like a map of the alps!! It's like anything worth doing, practice makes perfect! J xx

dont feel down ive just trained with odyssey, i felt exactly the same after my first nail believe me it does get easier ive been practicing on friends family and my nail trainer, also the tutorials on this site are fab they have helped me out loads

Cheer up Sweetie!
This is only the beginning. It's takes a while to get really good at doing nails. Some techs take years to master the craft. And once you think you've aced one thing, there is always something else to master. Product Ratio, Service Time, Technique, etc,. The best thing is that you are in SCHOOL. In school, you can take all the time you want, make your mistakes, and milk the teacher for all you can! Don't get frustrated, we all started out like you. (I think...lol) Take advantage of it and I guarantee that by the time you're done, you'll be posting pics on this site of your lovely work!
