I've not been happy with my haidressers recently beacuse the hair colours they have available seem very cheap and the cut isn't anything spectacular. So i'd thought i'd try another hairdressers that cost a bit more. I rang up and said I would like my hair coloured red but since my hair is dark brown with blonde streaks in they will need to strip it so I went along with it and made an appointment.

I'm not to sure i've done the right thing now since i've read on the net that it can really damage your hair having it stripped i'm I right?
and is there any other way of getting my hair red like dying it brown first then red the next month?

I'm clueless on all this so some help would be great.

any chemical process can damage your hair if it done incorrectly.

If your hair is not already damaged and you are going to a professional to have your hair coloured then the condition of your hair will be fie.

Going brown and then red won't achieve a vibrant red. Having it stripped will be the best way to do it. X
