Getting rid of hang nails?

I have been using solar oil 3-4 times daily and CND cuticle eraser 2x daily for at least three weeks now. It's done wonders to tame my cuticle and eponychium which would travel as far up as a third of my nail. However, I'm still getting hang nails on both sides of almost every finger and it's driving me crazy. I've tried cutting them but they just grow right back into the same annoying hang nail. I'm trying to let them grow out to get rid of them. Will that work? What else can I do??

I would try buffing them down. Use a 240 grit or higher and do it while they are dry, then solar oil like crazy. HTH!
