Hi Geeks!

New to this forum, so this is firstly to introduce myself and my mobile hairdressing business! :)

Secondly, to ask some advice.

I have a client looking to go ginger, shes naturally a base of a 5 I would say. Shes looking to go Karen Gillan ginger.

Any good recommended colours?

Im looking to start using Loreal now, and have used a few of their dark browns on clients, but looking to experience with some of the more creative colours now!

Any other colour manafacturers also welcomed, as just trying to find one I can work with regularly now.

My sister is a natural 7, I used for her 8/34 wella and this was the result

I have also used Goldwell 8CG and this was the result

I find gingers hard to work with but these were my two favorites

I always mix with a natural as well to prevent hot roots, does not seem to affect the reflect whatsoever To achieve the Karen look, the 8/43 wella is nice as well, a bit on the red side though so maybe a touch mixed in with 8/34 to deepen

I can even tell you what colours make up all matrix shades if so required ;p sorry I'm a colour whore!! ;)

Blue - u are officially my idol! I call myself a color whore! I've been through every single color line, experimented with every tone under the sun ( I have some really awesome friends and fam! ) and am still searching for the perfect line :D For every tone, i have a favorite line, i have never found one line that measures up to all....I will definately start experimenting with Matrix though, haven't used since I was in college, but if u approve, Im all for it :)

Can we call it copper or coppergold please? The term "ginger" makes me cringe somewhat.

Ta xx

LOL. Was thinking the same thing.

Crikey, it's looking as if I am stalking you around here. Stop thinking the way I do and making the reply I would before I do too. People's tongues will start wagging! :wink2:

Its very much a Karen Gillan (Drwho) colour that she is looking to go.

Will look into the Wella 8/34 and see what its like.

Thanks for the advice geeks :)
