i always used marvel lash....then i was introduced to lash perfect and wow what a difference...i have been doing lashes for 3 years now and can do a full set in one hour i use 0.025mm thickness and all different lenghts depends on client, my clients love the thickness of them and i also use the speedy glue it sets very fast if your confident however its quiet fumie but all my client know they dont mind they say they also last longer....and save money use micropore instead of patches some of my clients are allergic to them good luck x

jb cosmetics mega pro blue top. its expensive but very little fumes, good returns, fast drying w/a medium consitency

I Just bought Flirties expert glue. I started by doing a friend of mine and it was amazing Her eyelashes are normally pretty hard and I sailed through them with no problems and they look great BUT she opened her eyes to have a look half way through and was in agony from the fumes her eyes were stinging and then started watering. We carried on regardless and at the end it happened again - we put it down to her eyes being quite sensitive, which they are and decided to use it on my eyes. I never have reactions and am never bothered by lash extensions but the same thing happened to me - they were stinging SO MUCH! my eyes were red and watery and it took me about 10 mins to be able to actually see what my eyelashes looked like.

I'm really worried about using this on paying clients. even though our eyes were fine ten mins after i'm very dubious about using this with a customer who doesn't know me. My favourite bit of doing lash extensions is afterwards when they look in the mirror and go "wow they're amazing" but if their eyes are stinging and watery I doubt I will have that response.

I used Nouveau's ultra bond 5 and found it too slow drying.

I GUTTED because I loved the glue, it was amazing! Advice please......

Well I only use Nouveau PB and I find it fantastic and lasts for up to 4 weeks for most all of the people I do .. it certainly lasted for 4 weeks for me before I had my infill.

I just got back from the USA and was away for 4 weeks and hardly lost a lash!! I was WELL impressed as I don't notmally wear eyelash extensions myself. One of my students offered to do mine before I left for the US ... I wasn't keen to have them done as I didn't want to be bothered with an appointment whilst I was away .... well I NEVER NEEDED ONE ... they were perfect the whole time. Nouveau PB for me and my clients. If you have trained with Nouveau then I would stick (lol) to it. I'm convinced. :green:

I've never tried Flirties so i can't comment on their glue but maybe she shouldn't have opened her eyes half way through!
I use one of those little hand held fans and fan clients eyes after doing their lashes.
I trained with Nouveau but found their glue too slow setting. I use ilash xpress from ABX Beauty and my lashes improved loads just by changing the glue. I've not had any problems with clients eyes stinging.

Nouveau PB slow setting?? You must be joking. Or you haven't used it for a long while.

I just found i had quite a few stickies with it. When i changed glue, I didn't get this problem. I last tried it less than 6 months ago so, unless they've changed the formula recently, it was just too slow for me personally :)

Don't let your client open her eyes until the very end and don't use this adhesive on yourself with open eyes. As it's a very fast drying adhesive it does have a bit of a fume.

I use this and I love it. I've only had one person in discomfort due to it and it was my fault because I asked her to open her eyes too soon.

Fair enough .. it is just perfect for the way I work and I actually do one eye at a time, rather than working from one to the other. I find my clients find it more comfortable that way. Me too.

I have just recently changed over to Flirties expert strength from Nouveau PB, what a difference. Yes there are some fumes, but in comparison to getting lots of stickies and I found the longevity of the lashes wasn't good. Flirties returns are excellent, clients getting a good 3 weeks before needing an infill. At the end of the treatment I apply a sealer and then I hold a small electric fan for approx 1 minute and I have never had any irritation or stinging when a client opens there eyes. I have also bought AH Francis fast lash and have tried this on a couple of friends, the fumes were alot stronger than flirties, but I will have to wait for the returns to see if its worth it hth.

Strange if you read my ost above how two people can have such wildly varying experiences .. do you think it is the adhesive or the therapist?

Flirties expert strength for me! :)
