Hi all!

Just seeking some advice - I used to be a solid platinum blonde but these days my hair is just a highlighted blonde, although the blonde bits are very light.

I desperately miss having that all over blonde colour, and I wonder whether it would be possible for a colourist to be able to do this for me?

I imagine it would mean trying to pick out all the bits of brown and colouring over them to avoid frying my hair?

I don't mind if the look is achieved with loads of highlights rather than it being completely solid, but I definitely want the amount of brown in my hair to be dramatically reduced.

What should I ask for in the salon?

Any tips hugely welcome!

I would probably want to do a full head of foils. Loads of super fine ones, and yes I would probably pain-stakingly pick out the brown to lift up blonde. You may want to ask for a platinum toner all over too after your foils, just to make it a loverly clean bright blonde. If you scalp bleach your highlighted hair you will end up with rather glowing roots!
